Whitworth University Spokane, Washington BSN Degree Program

Whitworth University, in partnership with Washington State University’s College of Nursing, offers a pre-nursing program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to excel in the nursing profession. This program provides a unique blend of a strong foundation in Christian liberal arts and a rigorous science curriculum, preparing students for application to WSU’s College of Nursing. Accepted students can choose to transfer or pursue dual enrollment through Whitworth’s Certificate of Vocational Development in Nursing. This distinctive program, taught by Whitworth faculty, features seminar courses that delve into topics such as ethics, values, spiritual care, and finding purpose in nursing. Even while immersed in WSU’s program, students maintain access to Whitworth’s campus resources and community. Upon graduation, students receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from WSU and, if dually enrolled, a certificate from Whitworth, setting them apart as compassionate and well-rounded healthcare providers prepared to transform and improve healthcare.
