The Nursing program at Salish Kootenai College (SKC) is a distinguished program with a long-standing commitment to graduating Native American Registered Nurses. Established in 1988, the program has evolved to offer diverse pathways including an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and an RN-BSN completion program. With the introduction of the Direct Admit BSN program, students can now complete their bachelor’s degree in four years, aligning with the industry’s growing preference for BSN-prepared nurses.
