Governors State University University Park, Illinois BSN Degree Program

The Nursing program at Governors State University is designed to prepare graduates for successful careers as registered nurses. Students will gain a strong foundation in the biological, behavioral, and social sciences, along with core nursing principles and practices. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care, preparing students to deliver high-quality care to diverse populations across the lifespan. The program typically leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Students will participate in extensive clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings, allowing them to apply their knowledge and skills under the supervision of experienced nurses.
